Ocean City, Maryland, has a wide selection of accommodations. With over 10,000 hotel rooms and 25,000 condominium units and beach houses, there are lodging choices for every preference and budget. The following hotels are described to give you some ideas.

Beach Umbrellas in Ocean City

Roadway Inn Oceanfront - This nice oceanfront hotel is just two blocks north of the boardwalk; and in addition to the oceanfront rooms, it also has some "street side" rooms at a lower price.

Carousel Resort Hotel - Located on the beach at 117th Street, the Carousel is truly an Ocean City tradition because it was the first high-rise building in the north end of town. The hotel was completely remodeled a few years ago and has an indoor ice rink and rink-side bar, three heated swimming pools, a sauna and fitness center, and much more.

EconoLodge Ocean Block - This is the last hotel in Ocean City before you get to Delaware at the north end of town. Located on 145th Street, this nice facility is only 1 1/2 blocks from the beach, on the Ocean side of Coastal Highway.

Comfort Inn Gold Coast - This is a bay front hotel at the Gold Coast Mall on 113th street. If you don't have to be oceanfront, this hotel offers great views of the sunsets, a convenient location, and lower rates than being on the east side of Coastal Highway.

Holiday Inn Ocean City - This Holiday Inn is located on 66th Street and is one of the largest and finest Holiday Inns anywhere. Directly on the ocean, the hotel has 216 fully equipped efficiency units with kitchenettes and private ocean view balconies. Want to stay out of the sand? The hotel has indoor and outdoor pools.

Days Inn Oceanfront - This Days Inn is located on the Boards at 22nd Street, near the north end of the boardwalk which tends to be "quieter" and more family-oriented.

Quality Inn Oceanfront -The Quality in Oceanfront is located on the beach at 54th Street. The unique thing about this hotel is that it has an indoor tropical atrium with exotic birds, fish, and palm trees. Don't like laying on the beach? This hotel has indoor and outdoor pools.

Quality Inn Boardwalk - The Quality Inn Boardwalk is located on16th Street, directly on the boardwalk, in the heart of Ocean City. It has two oceanfront pools and is very close to amusements and attractions.

Holiday Inn Hotel Suites - The Holiday Inn Hotel Suites is located on 17th Street and the Boards. This boardwalk hotel has a variety of things to do nearby.

Holiday Inn Express - The Holiday Inn Express is located on 126th street and Northside Park, which is one of the finest parks in the area. The hotel is a great place to stay for the Winterfest of Lights, which is held in the park from mid-November to January 2nd every holiday season.

Clarion Resort Fontainebleau - This classy hotel is on the beach at 101st Street, directly on the ocean. The hotel has a beach bar and the only section of beach in town with bar service on season.

Comfort Suites - If you like the beach for the golfing or if you just want a quiet place to stay, the Comfort Suites in West Ocean City is the place to stay. It has a convenient location to the Outlets and many, many golf courses.

Marigot Beach Condominium Suites - Marigot Beach is located on 100th Street on the beach. Yes, these are condo units that can be booked just like a hotel. All of the 1, 2 and 3-bedroom units are equipped with a full kitchen, washer, dryer, and a direct oceanfront balcony from which you can enjoy the fabulous ocean view. Marigot Beach guests are welcome to use the pool and other facilities at the next-door Clarion Resort Hotel.

Ocean City has been referred to as the "East Coast's Number One Family Resort," the activities and events are varied as well.
